The annual bauma Innovation Award honors cutting-edge developments in the construction and building materials industries. This year Max Bögl has been nominated for the prestigious award in the “construction methods” category for its innovative Mobile Fabrication plant.

 

Mobile Fabrication plants can be used to build the mb.hybridtowers at any project site in the world under German quality standards. On-site production avoids expensive long-distance and heavy-load transports and promotes the regional economy through the use of local resources and labor. The Mobile Fabrication is currently being deployed in Thailand for the construction of 90 hybrid towers in the Korat Wind Farm.

 

After the initial selection process, the first hurdle has been cleared. We are in the round of finalists.

 

The nominees will be revealed in the bauma Media Dialogue at the end of January 2019. We keep our fingers crossed that our Mobile Fabrication makes it.
