Public tours on construction site in Gaildorf

Interesting look behind the scenes – A lot has changed in the last few months at the construction site of the pilot project of the Water Battery in Gaildorf. The first big construction phase has been finished as the world’s tallest wind turbines have been completed and commissioned. The next big steps are going to be made in spring, when the penstocks, which are connecting the storage basins to the lower reservoir, will be laid and the lower reservoir as well as the pumped-storage hydropower plant will be commissioned.

Because our guided site tours have always been very popular, we also want to give interested people the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes in this year.

On selcted dates there will be tours between 12 a.m. – 2 p.m. and between 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. with up to 40 persons. You have to be signed in to participate at the tour.  If you are interested, please sign in by using the registration form on our website. Each tour starts and ends at the bus station near Schlossstraße 15 in Gaildorf.
