We have set ourselves the goal of developing and marketing forward-looking solutions in the field of renewable energies. With unique concepts and innovative ideas, we are making our contribution to a green future - regionally, nationally and internationally.

The energy transition is accelerating the expansion of renewable energies and increasing our responsibility towards society and the climate. With the choice of materials for our hybrid towers, we are already making a significant contribution to sustainability. For example, we achieve a recycling rate of 95% for steel and concrete.

In order to further increase sustainability, we carried out a comprehensive life cycle assessment last year. This analysis helps us to make the environmental impact of our products and services more transparent and to identify further potential for optimization. This concerns both environmental sustainability and the accessibility and management of data. With the help of regular, future life cycle assessments, we will derive measures to continuously reduce the ecological footprint of our hybrid towers. Our goal is to make wind energy as sustainable as possible.

Our secret for 200 meters hub height: More concrete, less steel

Innovative material mix for stable and cost-efficient towers for wind turbines

Our hybrid towers are ideal for heights from 140 meters and more. They combine concrete elements in the lower section with tubular steel segments in the upper section and can therefore reach hub heights of up to 200 meters.

For the self-compacting concrete, we use a mixture of limestone and granulated blast furnace slag from our own production. This means that we are already substituting up to 60% of the cement and are currently researching a composition with 70%. In this way, we can reduce CO₂ emissions in cement production and make an active contribution to climate protection.

Our Code of Conduct

For us, sustainability does not end at our own factory gates, but encompasses the entire supply chain. The Max Bögl Group has drawn up a Code of Conduct for Business Partners, which formulates requirements for companies and individuals who enter into or already have a business relationship with us. This code is regularly reviewed for sustainability requirements to ensure that all partners meet our responsibility for ecological and social standards.
