Public tours: Pilot project "Naturstromspeicher Gaildorf"

Interesting look behind the scenes: At the end of 2018, the world’s tallest wind turbine with a hub height of 178 meters has been completed and commissioned. Meanwhile, the second construction phase has begun and the operations on the water battery continues steadily. The tunnel connecting the pumped-storage power plant and the lower reservoir is already finished. The next significant milestone is the laying of the penstocks between the storage basins and the lower reservoir.

We regularly offer public tours for our pilot project in Gaildorf. The participation is limited to 40 persons and is only possible after prior registration.
